February, 1904 ph-history-01Supply of chemicals business started as Hayashi Matakichi store at Dosyomachi Higashi-ku (now in Chuo-ku), Osaka prefecture.
April, 1932 Reorganized from a personal store into an incorporated store.
Renamed to, “Hayashi Chemical Retail Co., Ltd”.
August, 1950 Joto Plant began operations at Higashinakahama, Joto-ku, Osaka prefecture.ph-history-02
October, 1952 Reorganized as “Hayashi Pure Chemical Ind., Ltd”.
February, 1965 Head Office moved to 2-2 Doshomachi Higashi-ku (now in Chuo-ku), Osaka prefecture.
September, 1971 Established Tokyo Sales Office at Hongoku-cho, Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo prefecture.
October, 1983 Established Kyushu Sales Office at Hikino, Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyushu (now in Ushizucho, Ogi-shi,) Saga prefecture.
April, 1984 Established Saga Sales Office at Takucho, Taku-shi, Saga prefecture (now in Ushizucho, Ogi-shi,).
March, 1990 ph-history-03Completed Saga Plant construction in Ushizu Industrial Park at Ogi-gun, Saga prefecture (now in Ogi-shi).

March, 2002 Acquired ISO14001 registration for all companies, except Tottori Plant (authorized by JCQA).
August, 2002 Established Nara Office at Nukatabe-Kitamachi, Yamatokoriyama-shi, Nara prefecture.
April, 2004 Established Mie Sales Office at Taki-cho, Taki-gun, Mie prefecture.
August, 2004 Acquired ISO9001 registration.
